Glenna Ryer is a Philadelphia native now based in New York City where she designs costumes for theater and film. She holds an MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in costume design and a BFA from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art in drawing and painting. Her most recent productions include Suddenly a Knock at the Door at Theater for the New City, and Working at Trinity School in NYC. In addition to her design work, Glenna also recently taught a class in costume history at Middlebury College in Vermont and is currently a weekly guest lecturer at NYU Tisch's graduate Department of Design for Stage and Film.
